It is important to recognize violence while it is happening.

I am not diminishing the importance of aftercare. It is important to remove people from violent situations.

And it is even more important to give survivors the rehabilitation services they deserve.

I want fewer people moving into that system.

I want fewer people moving into that system.

But the only way to get fewer people into the system of recognize, remove, and rehabilitate, is to provide them with an education that will allow them to navigate this world as safely as possible.

Because they are the only people who will ever champion for their safety.

No country can protect us.

No partner can protect us.

We are the only ones who can protect ourselves from violence that happens when we are alone.
