What Will Bounce?



For the past fews days, I’ve been talking about how to get through life when we’re exhausted from having too much on our plates.


Judging from your responses, a lot of us are feeling that way right now.


Which is why I want to share this fantastic advice from ESD instructor Jackie:


“On days when I’m feeling overwhelmed, I ask myself, ‘If I dropped all the balls today, which would break? Which would bounce?


On days when I’m feeling overwhelmed, I ask myself, ‘If I dropped all the balls today, which would break? Which would bounce?

Ie: which would have negative consequences if I didn't show up and which would actually be fine and I'll catch them on my next upswing?


Then I drop all the balls I know will bounce.’”


There you go. We don’t always need to juggle all the balls that are thrown at us.
