ESD Funding Proposal 2025
In the summer of 2017, a bunch of us excitedly set off to find a way to support people interested in teaching ESD, especially those who were interested in making this their full-time profession.
The goal was to identify the pieces of the system that were missing, create them, and work together to professionalize trainings and credentialing.
Many of the programs/organizations/businesses proved efficacy in their training goals. For some reason, the working together did not work as well.
As committed as I am to the spreading of ESD, as I, like many of you, understand the importance of it, I have stepped back due to numerous reasons.
For 2025 I will be operating my support for the ESD community in the following way.
The Tzemach Fund for Pro-Active Anti-Violence Education will be providing grants up to $60k for projects that show robust cooperation between two or more organizations, and have at least one other funding source, within the Pro-Active Anti-Violence movement. These can be training camps, conferences, online programs or digital libraries etc.
Programs should be based on previously tried and proven protocols of efficacy. In other words, this fund is for pushing forward programs that already work but need help getting into a new market/community.
In order to apply, the lead organization should submit a one-page proposal including a description of the project and a few lines about each partner and what they will be bringing to the project.
In addition, all partners will be expected to submit their audited financials from the most recent year they have (2023), their current budget including projections and actuals (2024), and their budget proposal for 2025.
Submissions must be sent no later than October 1st, 2024.
Responses will be given by November 1st, 2024
Please send all submissions to: info@yehuditsidikman.com
